Infrastructural Facilities
The laboratories, Workshops and Computer Centers are fully equipped with the latest equipment as prescribed in the syllabus of various branches of Engineering. Good coaching and instructions by qualified Teachers and Instructors are made available to the students. Laboratory Manuals are prepared by the Teachers concerned and distributed to all the students to facilitate easy learning of the subjects. The foundation stone for the Campus was laid down by the former Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri. S.M. Krishna.

�Hostel The Institute is running separate hostels for Boys & Girls. The hostels are managed by a Warden assisted by a Deputy Warden. The Principal of H.M.S Institute of Technology is the Chairman of the Hostel Committees. The Hostel rooms are provided with necessary furniture. Every hostel is adequately equipped with a vegetarian mess to it. The students are strictly abide by the rules and regulations of the Hostels. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited. |

Library Library is the focal point of the Institute, situated in the new Block. The institute is giving attention to the library, with books covering various branches of Science & Engineering, which include Text Books, Recommended Books, Hand Books, Dictionaries, Data Books etc., The library subscribes to many Technical Periodicals covering all disciplines of Engineering. In addition, many General Magazines and newspapers are being subscribed to. Library Timings 1. Lending & Periodical Section : 8.00 AM to 12.00 Noon & 2.00 PM to 5.00 PM 2. Transport The Institute has several buses operating from various parts of the city to the Campus. Separate bus facility is also available for students staying in Hostels located outside the Campus and in the City. |

Sports and Cultural Activities
The Institute offers facilities for Sports and Extra Curricular activities. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-collegiate sports programmes, co-curricular and cultural activities. A separate indoor sports center is available in the Campus and in the Hostels. |

Canteen The canteen is well panned and hygienically maintained to cater to the needs of day Scholars, Hostellers and Staff. It serves nitrous and balanced food. It is a place to relax. |

Institute of Technology has well established state of the art thirteen Computer Centers housing 482 computer systems, which are connected with fast Ethernet technology by using mega speed switches and with 06 Mbps 1:1 Internet leased line round the clock - Backboned by BSNL - OFC Link=02Mbp (Optic Fiber Connectivity) and SIFY=04Mbps, OFC through RF. |

Commissioned EDUSAT E.learning Project ( I S R O ) � Programme from Visweshwaraiah Technological University in order to conduct interactive classes for Students through Satellite communication.
