H.M.S INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ENGINEERING CENTRE has been affiliated to National Council of Vocational Training, New Delhi. There are 06 Trades viz. Electrician, Fitter Turner, Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & T.V, & D.M.M. All the Trades are two years duration. Every year two tests will be conducted by the All India Trade Test in the months of July and February every year.

More than 170 trainees are getting training. The Institute is having infrastructure, equipments, etc as per DGE&T Norms. The Institute has been given Grant in Aid during the year Nov, 1997 by the Govt. of Karnataka. Every in the month of June the Admission Notification will be given and by the end of July the admission formalities be closed. From August every year the Session will be started.
