MICHAEL FARADAY LAB (POWER ELECTRONICS LAB)

Power electronics have revolutionized the concept of power control for power conversion and for control of electric motor devices. Power electronics combine power, electronics and control delay with the steady state and dynamic characteristics of closed loop system. power delay with the static  and rotating power equipment for the generation , transmission and distribution of electric power. Electronic deal with the solid state devices and circuits for signal processing to meet the designed control objectives. Power electronics may be designed as the application of solid-state electronics for the control and conversion of electric power. The interrelationship of power electronics with power, electronics and control.

Experimentation and analysis of results will be done on the above said power devices in power electronics lab.

BHASKARA (MICROCONTROLLER/DSP-MAT & MICROPROCESSOR LAB)

A microprocessor is an electronic component that is used by a computer to do its work. It is a central processing unit on a single integrated circuit chip containing millions of very small components including transistors, resistors, and diodes that work together. A microcontroller (or MCU for microcontroller unit) is a small computer on a single integrated circuit. In modern terminology, it is a System on a chip or SoC. A microcontroller contains one or more CPUs (processor cores) along with memory and programmable input/output peripherals. This lab will provide the students perfect introduction to the world of microprocessor and microcontroller. The various experiments are conducted by using microprocessor and controller kits with the peripherals.

VLSI  & HDL LAB

Very-large-scale integration (VLSI) is the process of creating an integrated circuit (IC) by combining thousands of transistors into a single chip. VLSI began in the 1970s when complex semiconductor and  communication technologies were being developed. The microprocessor is a VLSI device. This Lab has been established to give idea to students about the configuration and Simulation of V LS I circuits and Systems. basic objectives of this lab to explore various design style of simple and complex integrated circuits like analog and digital. The study of this lab gets familazation with the Xilinx series tools for the design of Logic circuits described using HDL.  This laboratory houses high end computer simulation and High quality HDL trainer Kits. The purpose of Lab is to train the students in developing programs for HDL applications in designing complex digital circuits using Industry level FPGA board. here  students are exposed to verilog and VHDL programming.

DEPARTMENTAL LIBRARY

A library is a collection of sources of information and similar resources, made accessible to a defined community for reference or borrowing. We are maintain a separate departmental library to help for both student and faculties. We are having about 600 books, projects reports and technical seminar reports, paper publication and CDs  of previous years. We will help our students to make use of resources available in departmental library for excellent future.
